Dein is all talk / Diarra plays for France
September 8, 2007 on 9:46 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er |Good Old David Dein is back on the scene. I preferred it when he was quiet. Dein says that Wenger “wasn’t sure” he would stay at Arsenal. Interestingly he also said, “There is certainly no takeover plan at this moment.” Which seems strange, what is the point of Red and White Holdings?
Gilberto is top of Valencia’s shopping list come January. The Spaniards with launch a £10Mil bid when the window re-opens. An eight figure bid may interest Arsene with the amazing depth he has at the centre of midfield, nobody in there can claim to have the Brazilians experience though.
It was a big International day today, England won the cricket and the rugby, and even the football. It’s always lifting to see your country doing well in sports, even if the rugby was a little stuttery. Eduardo cracked in two more goals for Croatia and that can only lift his confidence ahead of his first North London Derby. Rosicky also scored for the Czechs who got a 3-nil win but it was only against San Marino. Lehmann was on ‘hand’ to keep a clean sheet for Germany away at Wales. Well done Mr. Eastwood you obviously really unsettled Jens!! Diarra also commanded a central midfield role for France. If he can live alongside Vieira, Gattuso, and Camoranesi he can’t be far off making to side to play against the scum next Saturday.
Let’s hope all the lads make it through the midweek Internationals injury free.

You muppet Diarra played at right back and he played bloody well!! The game itself was like watching Wigan vs. Middlesborough but what’d ya expect from the Italians… well at least they invented lasagne as the Scum know all about!
He will be a valuable asset for Arsenal especially during Kolo/Eboue/Ade absense in the annoying African Cup Of Nations over the new year period. Anyway come on Gunners at the Lane
p.s. I have a ticket yes!!

Its so annoying that some of us In Africa cannot be able to view Europe’s best match over the weekend, instead being restricted to watch some England squad playing a boring match with their opponents, that means we missed the game Between France and Italy, and therefore missed to see Diarra inaction at the left back

Calm down, Calm down, are you all scousers. I was going by the FFF website. My point was if Diarra can play for the French National side then it’s a positive for The Arsenal.
