End to International, yes!

The International week comes to an end tonight with England winning against Russia. Eduardo grabbed another goal for Croatia in the 6-0 mauling of Albania. Gallas didn’t make it back for France but is still in with a shout of playing on Saturday, Diarra also played, at right back?!? He was on the losing side, Scotland beat the French in Paris, the 1-nil result puts the Scots top of a group containing Italy and France. I won’t be answering any texts from ArsenalScotland this week!! Van Persie also played in the Dutch’s win over Albania.

Van P

Danny Fiszman will not be selling his stake in Arsenal, the major shareholder said, “I have not set a price because I haven’t thought about selling.” The move to the new ground has made him more determined to keep his shares in Arsenal, “Moving to the Emirates Stadium was like moving into a dream home.” I think the presence of David Dein makes the other board members more determined to keep the club.

AWIMB had an article on their site today on their worst ever Arsenal players, surprisingly Helder was on there, the people saying him obviously weren’t there when he ripped apart Norwich at Highbury in 1995. Some players haven’t even had 1 good game. Also suggested was Steven Morrow, the one armed bandit, what a legend. A more sensible chap put Vince Bartram and one game wonder John Kosmina, both fair but nobody mentioned Ian Selley, surely the worst player to play in a European Cup Final for Arsenal? Mark Flatts? Igor Steponavos takes some beating at the back!! 33 second Jason Crowe? Who is the worst, we’ve had some dodgy old players over the years it’s a hard choice to make.

Theo Walcott had, for him, a poor performance last night for England U21’s, he can’t work miracles every game for them. U21 manager Pearce insists Walcott’s substitution was tactical but feels he needs more minutes on the field for Arsenal. Pearce went on to say, “Theo will play his part but he is just one young man, the youngest, who is playing his part in a squad of players looking to establish themselves at international level and club level.”

Eduardo is looking like he’s sharpening his tools for the scum on Saturday. Wenger has a tough choice ahead of the game as Adebayor will also cause the Spuds problems with his power in the air. I can’t wait for kick off.
