Cashley gets an early holiday
May 1, 2007 on 11:05 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No CommentsOh dear, Oh dear. Cashley you’ve won the Carling Cup, well at least your wallet is bigger son. Liverpool, the better team, have just knocked out The Chavs’ and I bet every gooner loved seeing Casher sulk off the pitch. After that crushing result the Greedy bastard now has to come to The Home of Football. We will enjoy welcoming you back Cashley. Mobiles at the ready!
Adebayor and Clichy have both come out today and tried to whip up the support. Gael said they’d win against the Chavs for the fans and Ade hopes we finish strongly to build momentum for next season. Lehmann also expressed his confidence that Arsenal will win the Champions League next year. Already most of us are very excited about next season. Especially with Henry and Van Persie starting the season fully-fit. The potential for a big season is there, it’s time for the lads to step up, and fill the boots of the senior gooners who have come and gone.
It does appear that there is some truth behind the White Away Shirt. Sources at both ‘The Gooner’ and RedAction have said that there is a strong possibility that one of the Arsenal kits will be WHITE!!

Likely Design?
I am not too concerned about the possibility of this shirt but I can hear the moaning already. So many people will be against it, I have to ask, is it worth it?
Theo has today been linked (on sky) with a possible summer move to Coventry, I would imagine on loan, as I said yesterday I really am starting to disagree with sending players out on loan. In the vast majority of cases I really don’t think Arsenal have benefited from these season long loans. More like the player wants first team football and leaves. Today someone pointed out Henrys’ programme notes from the Fulham game to me. You have to love his comment that it always makes him laugh the way Tottenham always celebrate a draw against us. Well said Thierry what is it with a draw that the Spuds love so much. Weird, I never really enjoy a draw that much, except maybe when it steers you to a semi-final win when 2-nil down. William Gallas has also added to today’s cheer by saying he wants to stay at Arsenal and win everything next year. I hope both of those things come true for you willy.
We’d all rather have a willy than a cunt!! Role on Sunday, Cashley we’re waiting for you.
Chelsea where ever you may be . . . .
May 2, 2007 on 11:43 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No CommentsNews is we will get a ’sneaky peak’ at the new Arsenal away kit on Sunday. Then the, will it, won’t it, white story will soon be over. There is even a rule that Arsenal could play in their new away kit on Sunday against the Chavs’. Teams with a new away kit are allowed to play in it for the last home game of the season before.
New song sheet for Sunday
(to the sound of ‘We got Campbell’)

A lot of comment has been made in the media about Vieira’s comments that Wenger may leave. As usual the media take everything out of proportion, he was simply saying that after his contract is up he may not stay at Arsenal. He was talking mainly about Dein and has no facts so it is just a feeling he has. They may as well print me saying Wenger will stay until his 95th birthday.
Milan have just beaten manure in the second semi-final of the champion’s league. It does not surprise me that the two teams with the noisiest crowds have won their semi-finals. Both Anfield and the San Siro were absolutely rocking. Well deserved.
Fabregas again won the Arsenal.com player of the month. I think all bets are off on who will be the player of the season. Cesc has had a great year and been the only really consistent Arsenal player this season.
Wenger fined & censored
May 3, 2007 on 10:11 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No CommentsVote Bridge - The Chavs best Left Back, surely he deserves to be Chav Player of the Year. http://chelsea2.chelseafc.com/popups/poty.htm
Wenger was today fined by the FA for improper conduct because he said the lino lied when he said Adebayor punched Fatty Lampard. The FA are yet to apologise to Arsenal for banning Ade for 4 games for doing absolutely fuck all. Pricks! Oh and Wenger has also been censored whatever the hell that means.
It was revealed in the press today that Barton really kicked arse when he attacked team-mate Dabo. Barton knocked the midfielder out and has given him two black eyes. Brilliant. I’d love Barton at Arsenal you wouldn’t dare put in a shite performance. He’s nuts!! I think his City days are now numbered that’s for sure, you only get so many chances.
As for the build up to the return of the chav, Rosicky has today been rated 50/50, I really hope he makes it back. We need his craft from the midfield.
Not much else going on today. Quite before the storm I guess.
Fruit & Veg for Casher
May 4, 2007 on 11:36 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No CommentsWenger announced his squad today for the match against the Chavs’ Arsenal will be from Lehmann, Eboue, Toure, Gallas, Clichy, Hleb, Fabregas, Gilberto, Diaby, Baptista, Adebayor, Almunia, Denilson, Senderos, Djourou, Hoyte, Aliadiere, Rosicky. Rosicky is the major doubt from this squad. Wenger is asking that the crowd do not Bash Casher on Sunday, he has 2 hopes! A rumour has circulated that Arsenal fans will throw ‘fruit and veg’ at The Chavs’ on Sunday in retaliation for the throwing of Celery during the Carling Cup Final. I don’t really think this is the Arsenal way and I’m sure it won’t happen. Where Chavski get away with throwing things at players and other fans, as their manager gets away with saying what he likes, The Arsenal fans would be hit hard by the FA.
I honestly think we will be let down on Sunday and Cashley will not turn up. We’ve started to hear rumours he has an ankle problem. Typical of the Greedy bastard, totally gutless. Come on Casher we deserve our chance to abuse you and you deserve the chance to see 57,000 mobiles being waved at you. Clichy, Adebayor, Wenger, and the rest have this week been singing Arsenals praises and looking forward to next season. Eboue today added his thoughts saying he thinks next season will be “our year”.
The transfer rumour mill is still ongoing, today Arsenal have apparently gone for, Lukasz Fabianski, Poland’s’ second choice keeper. He is 22 and currently plays for Legia Warsaw, this would be a big step up for the Pole. Wrighty has also been back on the scene, he said he’d love to see Arsenal sign Eto’o. He underlined the fact Arsenal need World-Class players to close the gap on the Chavs and Manure.
Remi Garde has been approached to be Arsenals’ director of football. Former Gooner is currently Assistant Coach at Lyon but would jump at the chance to work with Wenger again.
Only 40 hours till Chavski now, good luck to Uni-ched tomorrow, put some pressue on the Russians.
Arsenal 1 - 1 Chavski
May 7, 2007 on 3:00 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No CommentsPremiership - Ashburton Grove
Arsenal: Lehmann, Eboue, Gallas, Toure, Clichy, Diaby (Hoyte 79), Fabregas, Gilberto, Denilson (Hleb 59), Adebayor, Julio Baptista. Subs Not Used: Almunia, Senderos, Djourou.
Goals: Gilberto 43 pen.
Att: 60,102.
Three times we’ve led against these chavs and three times this season they’ve spawned back into the game.
Arsenal showed today that they are the better team and with a little fine-tuning we can be more competitive at the top of the league.
Today was about taking the title from Chelski and handing it to manure, it was also about the return of Casher Cole. We managed the first one but did not have the pleasure of Mr. Cole back at our ground. He bottled the return. Didn’t turn up. What a joke, I can’t imagine what Arsenal fans would think if one of our first team players didn’t fancy playing in what was a title decider.
Arsenal controlled the first half of this match and took a deserved lead just before half time when Boulahrouz took out The Beast. The chav defender was duly sent off and Gilberto stepped up to score.
The game changed when Denilson got injured and had to go off. It let Chelski into the game and unbalanced our team. A cross from Wright-Phillips and an Essien header levelled it. Arsenal could have won the game at the death with an Eboue shot that crashed onto the bar.

Funny Money
Arsenal win the Quadruple
May 7, 2007 on 8:40 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No Comments“Arsenal are my club and that is where my future lies.” William Gallas has stated he is very happy at Arsenal and sees his long-term future at the mighty Arsenal. Gallas also said we will be the number 1 team in England very soon.
Yesterday it was ‘rocking’ in the Rocket. What a great closure to the season. I still have ringing in my ears from all those bloody whistles. I’m surprised nobody lost an ear!! As well as creating loads of noise they also made a good deal of cash for the Willow Foundation.
The Gooner Women won the Ladies FA Cup today making it The Quadruple. This has been an amazing season for the old tarts! League Cup, 100% win record in the League, and The UEFA Cup.
Rumour has it The Beast’s Arsenal days are over and he will not be returning to Spain. Reyes has also been dealt a blow, Madrid don’t want the moaner, he may now return to Sevilla. Arsenal are said to want Daniel Alves and it could be the perfect deal for the club. Henry has today again been linked to a move to Barcelona despite him repeatedly saying his is going nowhere. If Arsenal were gonna sell TH14 it would have been last season when his stock was at it’s highest. It is vital we keep our ‘experienced’ players for next season.
Only 5 days to go in the season. We are all looking forward to the trip to Pompey, it should be a great end to a fun season. Are you ready Portsmouth?
Transfer gossip hots up
May 8, 2007 on 11:02 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No CommentsI am finally feeling like a normal human being and my voice is back to somewhat normal standards. It was a harsh week for the body. I’m sure the trip to Pompey will be even more challenging!
What is up with Pascal Chimbonda. He said he wants to play for Arsenal. I’m sure you do, in fact I am sure every Spud player would swap places with his Arsenal equivalent. You’ve got no chance son. You have to be good and your shite! Pascal is a mid-table player and a mid-table club. That’s where he’ll stay.
More and more transfer stories pick up as the season comes to an end. Yoan Gouffran was again linked with a move to Arsenal. Although he is only playing in the French Second division it does seem he is likely to make the move to Arsenal. As always Ribery is looking close to signing. He is unhappy at Marseille but he has only managed 5 goals this season, he’d have to improve that to be a worthwhile signing. Florent Malouda is also being strongly linked to Arsenal saying he has an offer that he just can’t turn down. Juve are also linked to him. He’s grabbed 11 goals this season and would be my choice if we had to choose between Ribery and Malouda.
Fabregas today underlined that our midfielders need to score more goals. Gilberto with 11 is the only player who deserves the credit for his scoring. Cesc is spot on we must find a way to replace Pires’ goals. Malouda could be the answer.
No more players . . . .
May 9, 2007 on 11:21 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No CommentsArsene has again outlined he doesn’t plan to spend big in the summer. The gaffa said Uni-ched only got Carrick in during last summer and look at what they have done. That is a great point but Arsenal do 100% need more goals from Midfield. I’d accept that theory that one major signing at the same sort of value as Carrick may be enough. This being said everyone else needs to bloody keep fit next season.
The Times featured the Top Fours’ plan for the summer basically saying Arsenal can’t afford anyone because of their £10Mil repayments. Does this mean we won’t buy anyone for 26 years! They forgot to mention the amount the gate receipts have risen to cover this loan. As always I think the money is there if Wenger wants it.
Some videos’ from the Block19 festivities on Sunday can be seen on you-tube http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=hbarsenal
Looking at all the ‘Teases’ in the programme from Sunday it does appear the three colours of our new away kit are White, Burgundy, and Gold. The shirt follows themes of the Chapman era and pictured is the old white shirt with a red vest pulled over the top. Also there is a picture of Ted Drake wearing a White shirt in the 1934 season. It also paves the way for a third shirt, likely to be yellow, as if we come up against Ajax in the Champions League we’d need a little change. Money through the door I suppose.
Got my outfit for Pompey away today, stand by on Monday for the pictures!
Lucky Spuds & Ryan Babel
May 10, 2007 on 10:39 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No Comments
Spuds got lucky the Wankers. Scraping a draw against Blackburn at home tonight. It leaves them almost certain for European Football. It is a shame for Channel 5 and the UEFA cup, having a club like that in a competition can only degrade it. Poor old Channel 5 will also get some terrible viewing figures.
Rumours about Ryan Babel have resurfaced. Their were rumours in January that Arsenal were gonna sign the Ajax winger but it lead to him signing a new contract. This makes me feel he is unlikely to be Arsene’s target. The left sided player has scored consistently for Ajax and would command a fee of near £7-8Mil.
Sky Sports have ran on the story that Reading will go for Fabrice Muamba in the summer to replace out of contract Stevie Sidwell. Sidwell has been linked with Chavski, the former Gooner has seen out his contract and can now sign for anyone for free, I can’t see that he is good enough for a regular place at a top-four team.
Mouron-iho made more comments about a referee last night, whether you think it is true or not, how does he get away with it. It seems Arsenal are not allowed any leniency on or off the field whereas the Russian controlled chavs do whatever the fuck they like. Yes Poll takes it up the Arsehole but why isn’t Wenger allowed to say so!
