Big club your having a laugh

Hossam Ghaly reached celebrity status today, he stormed off the pitch last night, and threw his Spuds shirt on the floor in disgust, are you surprised? Jol said he is a very good boy. We agree! It can’t help the spuds fans thinking they are a big club when Chimbonda says he wants to sign for Arsenal, Defoe says Ian Wright is his boyhood hero on Radio1, and Ghaly throws his shirt away. Oh Team! Oh Club!

Wenger again said today ‘henry is not for sale’. Despite both Wenger and Henry saying that neither is going anywhere this summer rumours and media speculation still persist. As with Vieira the press will continue to pressure Arsenal until they find a story.   Fabrice Muamba signed his permanent deal for Brum. The Gooner that never was! Well he was for 180 minutes anyway. Fabrice played against Sunderland and Reading is the Carling Cup last season. Unfortunately that was that.

This weekend is the long awaited Pompey trip. Fancy Dress at the ready. We’re off on the piss at lunchtime tomorrow so don’t expect too much action on this site until Monday! It seems like the Arsenal will play a weakened team against Pompey that will possibly lead to us finishing fourth and Pompey sneaking into Europe.

Pompey Rocks!

Why doesn’t everyone have their stag doo in Pompey? Gunwharf is a brilliant night out.

Fancy Pompey

Strangely enough not too many people were bothered about our outfits.

Wow, what a weekend, Saturday night, out in Pompey wearing diving gear with shirts saying Drogba and Ronaldo on. It took a lot of people a while to work why but it clicked in the end. We also had an on-call doctor and Superman so any injuries were dealt with swiftly. Batman turned into Spiderman and Fred Flintstone spent the night cavemaning all the ugly birds. If you ever want a bit of attention on a night out I can guarantee going out as Lou and Andy from Little Britain will bring in the attention required.  When Sunday came round Andy had lost his wheel-chair so had some major issues getting from pub to pub. The rest of us got detached from the main group of fancy dress goers and had to go in a normal pub. I’m not sure out intentions were fully appreciated.

Spiderman / Superman / Freddie

Finally the Beast has played his last Arsenal game, his performance today was simply, terrible, he must not be able to sign full-time for the Arsenal. He just isn’t good enough. The season is over and really it’s not too soon, it has been an up and down year with three great away days, at Man U, Chavski, and Scumland. The team has no excuse next year we should all be adapted to our new home and I think everyone is hoping for a big season.

Arsene has his board meeting in the next week or two and this will be when he finds out what sort of cash he has to spend. Everyone has his or her idea of who we should sell and who we should buy. ‘Arsene Knows’ so we should all be confident in him. We couldn’t have anyone better in charge of our club and I have confidence in him bringing in the goals we need this summer and not keeping the Beast!

Papers today have linked Freddie with a move to Newcastle and Micha Richards with a move to Arsenal. I really can’t see Arsenal competing with the chavs for Micha even if Arsenal is where he wants to go. It would be a brilliant move for us though.

To sum up the weeked, If Carlsberg made nights out it would be a fancy dress trip to Portsmouth!

First Silverware won at The Emirates

Sorry for the lack of post yesterday but the lads & I were too busy winning the first piece of silverware at The Emirates.

champions

What a fantastic day. The pitch at Arsenal is just unbelievable, even I had a half decent touch, not good, but half decent. If you wanna see more on the day have a look at the hbarsenal.com website. Today Eboue signed a long term contract with Arsenal. Much like most Arsenal players Eboue had an indifferent season at Arsenal. His early form was great but later in the season he didn’t look as strong. It has probably ended any chances of us signing Micah Richards in the near future.

Arsenal are still touting Reyes around but nobody seems too keen. The asking price has now been dropped to £8Mil but we have had no takers. I hope he doesn’t come back to Arsenal unless he can sort his attitude out. Not wanting to play for Arsenal because he says everything shuts at 5pm. What a prick!! We are all chipping in for a PS3 if he does come back that’ll give him something to do. Apparently you can teach the Beast how to control the ball on the new FIFA game. It is the hardest challenge on the game but will give you hours of entertainment.  Fat Sam has signed on for the Geordies so here starts years of hating them stripy bastads. Sure to become a diving, spitting, shirt pulling, long ball outfit. I don’t think Owen is going to like receiving every ball at head height. Also saw Jols’ mum on tele tonight, some show about a 26 year old virgin, she finished the poor lad off in the end. At least the Jols’ give something back to the community hey?

Arsenal look set to continue their annual trip to Austria this summer. Based in Bad Waltersdorf from 17th July till 25th. It is likely we will play Saltzberg on 25th July before returning for the Emirates Cup. It is thought Arsenal may play Middlesborough on 18th July as they are touring the same area, as are Lazio. The 3rd Qualifying round draw for the Champions League is 27th July 2007 with the matches being played the weeks of 7th/8th August and 21st/22nd August. This info is still all to be confirmed by the club over the next couple of weeks.

Hleb: Wenger is God

May 16, 2007 on 11:17 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No Comments

‘Arsenal are the ultimate second half team’ according to arsenal.com stats show The Arsenal would have only made 10th spot if games finished at half time. We led the table for the team who were losing or drawing at half time and going onto win. How funny was the Manq who grassed Moron-iho up for taking his dog abroad without it being quarantined, fuckin’ well batted!! Then Moron got arrested for having a row with the old bill. At least they stood up for themselves unlike the FA.

Congrats to Sevilla for winning the UEFA cup, Gooners have taken a shining to them this season, good effort lads, and we salute your old bill.  Morgan Gamst Pederson has been linked with a move to Arsenal today. Rumours are plenty in the transfer world as the season is over for most of us but I picked up on this one as he kind of fits the bill of a wide goal scoring midfielder.

Hleb is trying to save his Arsenal career, after another poor season, he said today Wenger is a coach sent by God. This is perhaps his best chance of staying as his football has not been up to it!

There’s only one Keown!

Today, the sun, linked Arsenal along with a host of other clubs to Darren Bent, at an asking price of £14Mil and the fact he is English I can’t see it myself.

Today we meet Bob Wilson, Martin Keown, Nigel Winterburn, Frank Mclintock, and Leilani at the 02 Fives. O2 put on a good day for us free food, free beer, and few games on the turf at Ashburton Grove. Unfortunately we went out in the group stages on goal difference. Gutting but we have had our fair share of footy this week. Next year we’ll be back stronger.

Not much else going on today. So that will do for you.

Henry: We will win League in 2007/08

May 18, 2007 on 10:20 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No Comments

Thierry Henry was back on the scene today re-enforcing other player’s statements that we can win the title next season. Thierry says we are just as good as Manure, Chavski, and Scouse FC. He is disappointed we have not challenged for silverware for two seasons and can’t accept being too far behind. Sounds like Tel has the right frame of mind for a big challenge next season.

Another Kit!

Above is another Arsenal Away Shirt. Thailand designers must be going crazy not knowing what this white kit will look like they keep making all sorts in anticipation to sell them on ebay! Why not wait for an official one? West Ham have been in for Ljungberg but seem to have been frightened off by his £70k wages. Ouch! Flamini who has been out of the squad for a while still hasn’t found his champions league winning team he wants. Not sure your gonna walk into Milan’s first team son!!  It has also been reported Almunia has been unsettled by the signing of Pole Keeper Fabianski. He is seeking assurance from Wenger he has not dropped down the pecking order.

Wenger has also been dangled a carrot by Ajax, Ryan Babel’s price has been advertised as only £6Mil, that is a bargain sure to attract Arsene. Wenger today also tried to upset the Dog Walker Moron-iho by suggesting Uni-ched have the edge in the race for the FA Cup tomorrow. Well done Arsene keep the pressure up on the Chav.

£40Mil to spend

May 19, 2007 on 10:57 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No Comments

Noel Gallagher, legend, told soccer am and the world he wants his kids to be Gooners. Fair play to ya! The Oasis man has been seen a couple of times at The Arsenal this season. I always knew he had great taste.

Not much Arsenal news today as we had to suffer the most boring final in history. The Chavs beat Manure with a goal from Moron-iho’s Drog! It was painful to watch.

In the end of season Arsenal board meeting Wenger was told he could virtually spend what he wanted. Over the seasons the board have come to learn Wenger does not splash the cash unless he has to. Most papers are branding a transfer kitty of £40Mil. This is bound to further still heighten transfer rumours. Most papers again are showing Henry the exit door, BORING!

Apparently Arsenal have made a move for 17-year old Icelandic Striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson. Kolbeinn has been invited to play in a youth tournament for the Gunners in Hong Kong.

Another youth players is sure to follow.

Champions League @ The Arsenal

May 20, 2007 on 8:04 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No Comments

Keith Edelman is aiming to bring the Champions League Final to Ashburton Grove. Next season the Final will be at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow, home to Spartak Moscow, and has an 85,000 capacity. The 2009 Final will be in Rome. So KE will have to push for the 2010 final.

The News of The World has a positive Arsenal story, they state Adebayor is about to sign a new, 4 year deal. Hopefully putting an end to the stupid rumours he is set to join Manure. A host of websites and newspapers have linked us with Jimmy Briand a 21-year-old French Forward. Jimmy has scored 13 goals in 79 games for Rennes in France.

Gallas has demanded more experience is bought into the Arsenal squad. I think most fans feel the same but whether it will happen is another story.

That’s about it for now.

Michael Owen Linked Again

May 21, 2007 on 7:30 pm | In Arsenal FC | posted by Block19er | No Comments

Cashley Cole recons his FA Cup Medal will shut Arsenal fans up. In your dreams batty boy. Your jibe today has heightened my hatred for you and if you ever grow the balls to come to Ashburton Grove your gonna get it!!

The Newcastle Evening Chronicle has linked Owen with a move to The Arsenal. Yet another player on his way to Ashburton apparently. Rio Mavuba of Bordeaux has also been linked.

I am off to Athens now so I hope England is wet for the next few days!!

Athens!

Athens / New Contracts

Scousers

Firstly can I say those fuckin’ Scousers are nuts. Off their heads. They gave their team brilliant support over in Athens and to be honest I was a little gutted for them that their team didn’t pull it off.

While I was away three brilliant bits of news have been reported. Adebayor and Bendtner have signed new contracts and The Beast is not signing on at Arsenal. Adebayor totally deserves it after an impressive season. Young Bendtner had a great season on loan at Birmingham ending with the Brum coming back up to the Premiership. If I am honest I am very surprised we have managed to keep the young Dane. Wenger has given him a massive boost by signing him up for 5 years. Nicklas is full of confidence and next season could be a great season for the youngster to break through. As well as The Beast it will also surely spell and end to Aliadiere’s Arsenal career.

Spare a thought for Gareth Bale who is on the verge of signing for a shit club. Does he realise he’ll never win a trophy while at N17 Scum. Fool.
